Sylvias ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Sylvias app and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app and website.

- Account information: Email address and other details you provide when you sign in (for example through Firebase Authentication).
- User-generated content: Messages you send in chat and videos you upload or share in the app.
- Location data: If you grant permission, we may use your device location to provide app features (for example showing nearby users or location-based features).
- Usage and safety data: Information about how you use the app, including reports you submit and block list data, to operate the app and keep it safe.

We use this information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Sylvias app and services.
- Enable chat, video, and social features.
- Enforce our terms and keep the app safe (for example by reviewing reports and supporting block features).
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you.

We do not sell your personal information.
4. Where we store your information
We use Firebase (provided by Google) for authentication and for storing app data (for example account information, messages, videos). Data processed by Firebase is subject to Google's privacy practices. We may also use other service providers that process data on our behalf; we require them to protect your information.

We may share your information:
- With service providers (for example Firebase/Google) that help us run the app, under strict confidentiality and security obligations.
- When required by law or to protect our or others' rights and safety.
- With your consent or at your direction (for example when you choose to share content with other users in the app).
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can block and report other users in the app.
- You can contact us to ask about your data or to request access, correction, or deletion (see Contact below).
- You can stop using the app and request that we delete your account and data, subject to applicable law and our retention needs (for example for safety or legal reasons).
7. Age requirement
The Sylvias app is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the app. If you believe we have collected information from someone under 18, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
8. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information (for example secure connections and access controls). No system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
